TAMPA, Fla.
Hilton Tampa Downtown announced its opening to travelers today, representing the first Driftwood Hospitality owned and managed property in downtown Tampa, the hotel was converted from Hotel Tampa, and is located at 211 N. Tampa Street.
Hilton Tampa Downtown is near The Tampa Convention Center and only 15 minutes from the Tampa International Airport. The hotel is also walking distance to several restaurants and local attractions.
The 17-story 520 room hotel also features the Avanzare Restaurant and Bar, a business center, fitness center, valet parking, and 30,000 square feet of function space. The hotel is undergoing a full renovation to include the public space, restaurant, bar and guest rooms, and will also be adding a full Starbucks to enhance the guest experience.
"We are excited to bring the first full-service Hilton to downtown Tampa, as well as the $13 million renovation that is underway" said Nabil Salloum, general manager for the property.
