It doesn’t get more star-studded than the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills during awards season, and planners looking to experience Hollywood glitz—and hoping for a celebrity siting or two—will appreciate the property’s various tech offerings.
The new Meetings on Wheels program, available only at the Los Angeles property, makes a tricked-out eight-passenger Mercedes van available to groups, complete with swivel chairs. Originally developed for groups travelling to local road shows, the van has proven popular with other business travelers, who want to prepare for presentations on the road or make efficient use of travel time.
The hotel was also an early adopter of in-room iPads, unveiling the Interactive Customer Experience (ICE) system in all 285 guest rooms in 2011.
On the iPads, guests can order room service, make restaurant reservations, contact valets, make housekeeping requests, look up travel information and book spa treatments. For planners, the iPads can be customized with welcome messages and special information for groups.
