Margarita Makeover for Atlantic City Boardwalk

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.

The new Margaritaville and LandShark Bar & Grill at Resorts Casino Hotel officially opened on Friday, May 24.

The ceremony featured Margaritaville CEO John Cohlan, Resorts Casino Hotel owner Morris Bailey, and Mohegan Gaming Advisors CEO Mitchell Etess. The group presented Governor Christie with a pair of bronzed Margaritaville Flip Flops celebrating the venue’s opening and the start of summer on the shore.

The Margaritaville Restaurant features a stage for nightly live entertainment, a tiki bar and Buffett-inspired accent pieces throughout—including a giant blender at the restaurant’s entrance. A seasonal exterior deck on the Boardwalk allows guests to enjoy alfresco dining or a drink topped off with a gentle ocean breeze.

LandShark Bar & Grill is the only year-round full-service bar and restaurant on the sand side of the Boardwalk. Inspired by the great “beach joints” that once dotted the Atlantic Coast, LandShark Bar & Grill features retractable walls, stunning ocean views and a collection of surfing artifacts to honor the great Atlantic City surfing tradition.

The Margaritaville Casino space includes a 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar with eye-catching flair bartenders and cool concoctions, Margaritaville’s first coffee shop, and a gaming area with 12 Margaritaville-themed table games and 160 slot machines.
