Dallas/Fort Worth adds nap space for tired travelers

Need a snooze? Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport introduced a tranquil new resting spot for tired travelers. The Minute Suites location in Terminal D includes two shower spaces and nine sleeping suites that are available for rental by the hour.

With fresh sheets and an in-room high-definition television and Internet access, travelers can snooze, track flights, watch a movie, get work done or catch some shut-eye.

The addition is part of the airport’s $2.3 billion Terminal Renewal and Improvement program, and a second Minute Suites location within the airport is scheduled to open in 2014.

Minute Suites also has locations in Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport.

Rates run $34 for first hour and $8.50 for additional 15-minute periods.
