Eric and Andrew Dayton, sons of Governor Mark Dayton, opened The Bachelor Farmer in 2011, and there has been a buzz around it ever since. When guests arrive, they experience a warm, eclectic interior. One of the private dining rooms is lined entirely with afghan blankets! The menu features Nordic-inspired dishes using fresh local ingredients, some of which are grown on the restaurant’s rooftop garden. The wine list is equally delightful, featuring tasty and unusual selections. Private dining spaces are located on the second floor and can accommodate up to 24 for a sit-down dinner, up to 50 for a family-style dinner or up to 120 for a cocktail event. The Bachelor Farmer is the perfect place to bring your group for a unique Minnesotan experience.

Rosa Mexicano is a vibrant, upscale Mexican restaurant located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Guests can enjoy modern takes on classics like enchiladas and tacos, but the Alambre a la Mexicano—grilled skewers of filet mignon, chorizo and vegetables—and Guacamole en Molcajete are two of the restaurant’s signature dishes and are not to be missed. Multiple flavors of margaritas add a special touch to any event. Rosa Mexicano can accommodate groups of up to 300 people with a variety of private event options, making it a fantastic choice for any group.

Kieran’s Irish Pub is the ideal setting for casual gatherings in Minneapolis. Once inside guests will feel like they have been transported to Dublin. The menu includes homemade pub fare such as pot roast sliders, honey- and whiskey-glazed chicken shots and pub pretzels with stout cheddar sauce. Be sure to try a Big Ginger or one of the other cocktails that showcase Kieran’s own 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey. Local lore says that Kieran’s sells more whiskey than any bar outside of Ireland! The Poet’s Corner and Titanic Lounge can accommodate groups of up to 150 people with a variety of seated and standing options.
