PEABODY, Mass.
Refurbished guest rooms, redesigned breakfast area, renovated fitness center and pool area, and a new lobby are among the updates recently completed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Peabody, Mass.
The renovations, a $3.5 million investment, are the first for the hotel since it was built more than a decade ago and are focused on enhancing the guest experience.
Upon arrival, guests will encounter a completely renovated lobby, check-in desk and breakfast area. A newly updated serving area now offers two serving rows to provide guests quick access to the hotel's complimentary full hot breakfast.
All 164 studio suites feature new bed coverings, chairs, desks, carpeting, art work and wall coverings, along with existing amenities that include flat panel televisions, video game consoles and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the hotel.
The hotel's revamped pool and fitness area provides a spa tub, treadmills, elliptical machine, weights and balance balls.
Additional amenities at the SpringHill Suites in Peabody include free onsite parking, onsite business services, audiovisual equipment and complimentary newspapers. Event facilities at the hotel feature five meeting rooms for conferences and meetings; the Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 people.
The hotel is located at 43 Newbury St. N. in Peabody, Mass., and managed by Rhode Island-based StepStone Hospitality.
