Janine Chicourrat, general manager of the Portola Hotel & Spa, in Monterey, Calif., was appointed chair of the Monterey County CVB.
She has more than 20 years of experience in operations and management leadership positions and helped the Portola Hotel recieven LEED Silver certification.
Chicourrat and the rest new of the Board of Directors will hold office through June 2014.
