Lacy Gibson joined the Chesapeake CVB in August as a sales manager.
In her new role she will focus on attracting association, religious, military reunion and other groups to the region.
Gibson brings 35 years of sales experience and extensive knowledge of the area to her position, most recently serving as director of sales with the Hampton CVB, also in Virginia.
She has also held sales positions at the Doubletree Hotel Military Circle and the former Omni International Hotel/Norfolk, now the Sheraton Hotel Waterside.
