While not as regal as tall ships or as sporty as sea kayaks, the BBQ Donut Boats at the Westin Cape Coral at Marina Village in Cape Coral, Fla., are sure to make attendees chuckle and enjoy themselves.
Travellng at speeds up to a roaring 7 mph, the inflatable round boats combine a barbecue, picnic table and water vessel, all in one. They can seat up to 10 guests and can be piloted by a captain or by attendees themselves, after a quick training session.
With color-changing lighting, the boats can even be taken out at night from the Tarpon Point Marina.
Groups can bring their own food onboard, or order off menus from some of the hotel’s restaurants.
The Westin offers 25,000 square feet of event space, accommodating groups of up to 500 people.
