The Bethesdan Hotel Gears for Opening

Tapestry Collection by Hilton will welcome The Bethesdan Hotel to its portfolio this fall. The property is set in downtown Bethesda, just steps from local shops, restaurants and entertainment, with convenient access to Washington, D.C.

“The Bethesdan truly embodies the experience Tapestry Collection is committed to delivering by offering remarkable accommodations in one-of-a-kind neighborhoods,” said Jenna Hackett, global head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

“Near Hilton’s headquarters and just minutes from the nation’s capital, The Bethesdan expands our footprint in the D.C. area, a key market for both business and leisure travelers alike. Looking ahead to the end of the year, this opening kicks off a particularly exciting period of development as we expand globally to cater to travelers’ desires for local experiences and distinctive hotels.”

Each of the hotel's 270 guest rooms will offer floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the surrounding city. For a 360-degree experience, guests can head up to the roof and cool off by the seasonal pool overlooking the Bethesda skyline.

Upon entering the hotel, guests will be welcomed into a multi-use lobby, complete with a pool table and games as well as a living room and library for those looking for quiet relaxation.

Additionally, the hotel will offer amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness center and a mural curated by a local artist on the outside of the building to celebrate the influence of the community.

“The property will offer premier food and dining options for both guests and locals at onsite restaurant Leo & Liv, featuring fresh, local American dishes with a Mediterranean twist. Following dinner, guests can indulge in curated cocktails, craft beer and wine at BFD (“but first drinks…”) before heading out to explore the city or relaxing in their guest room for the evening,” said Davin Driskill, senior vice president of TBC Hotels.

The hotel features 20 meeting rooms and more than 15,000 square feet of functional meeting space.
