Austin Welcomes Hotel ZaZa to Warehouse District

Z Resorts debuted Hotel ZaZa Austin in downtown’s Warehouse District. The hotel features a restaurant, craft cocktail bar, spa, rooftop pool and pool bar and ample meeting and event space.

There are 159 guest rooms and a collection of individually themed suites, from the retro Palm Springs-inspired Bungalow 6 Suite with bold colors and mod furniture, to the rock ‘n’ roll themed Back Stage Pass King Suite with animal prints, leather, velvet and a vibrant mix of furnishings and art.

Leading the culinary and beverage programs for three new concepts is Corporate Director of Food and Beverage Jacob Weaver, a veteran of Austin’s Juliet and Asti Trattoria, Chef de Cuisine Daniel Hatcher, former executive chef of Truluck’s Seafood Steak & Crab House in downtown Austin, and Director of Outlet Operations David Esquibel.

Perfect Strangers, located on the ground level, features handcrafted cocktails, light bites and a menu of salads, soups, sandwiches and entrees. The all-day dining restaurant is designed with leather booths, marble mosaic floors, locally sourced art and outdoor seating along 4th Street.

Sitting atop the seventh floor is Group Therapy, Hotel ZaZa’s craft cocktail bar, complemented by “Stage Fright,” the hotel’s live music venue. Adjacent to Group Therapy guests will find the hotel’s pool deck and poolside Cabana Bar overlooking Republic Square.

The hotel features 8,500 square feet of prefunction, meeting and event space with six distinct venues accommodating a range of parties from 24 to 295.

In addition to the dining and live entertainment spaces, other venues include The Gold Standard Ballroom, Toasts & Tributes Ballroom and Don’t Mess with Texas.

The function spaces feature high ceilings, exposed brick, grand chandeliers and natural lighting with oversize windows throughout.

Hotel ZaZa Austin’s signature ZaSpa is a full-service spa with therapies such as the Rock Star! Hot Stone Massage and The Romance Ritual—a ZaSpa staple.
