Shangri-La Suzhou Yuanqu Opens in China

Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou Yuanqu debuted in the city’s central business district of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP).

The 32-story hotel features 303 guest rooms and suites as well as 16 serviced residences with views of Jinji Lake and the city landscape.

Guests staying in suites or on dedicated Horizon floors also enjoy the personalized services of the Horizon Club Lounge where breakfast, refreshments and cocktails are served daily.

The property offers two culinary offerings. Shang Garden, is the hotel’s Chinese restaurant which celebrates local culinary classics, and Café Hong, is the all-day-dining restaurant serving international cuisine with a live-cooking station as well as private dining rooms.

Guests looking for casual refreshments can enjoy the Sip Lounge, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden. The lounge offers a large selection of teas and beverages in the afternoons before the lively sound of the house band entertains guests at night.

Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou Yuanqu offers two pillarless ballrooms of 10,763 and 4,133 square feet, respectively. Along with the ballrooms, there are seven multifunction spaces.

The Health Club and Spa provides a 24-hour gym and an indoor temperature-controlled pool. Additional facilities include a space for kinetic exercises, a Jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath as well as the Spa at Shangri-La, offering guests a wide range of treatments and massage therapies to rejuvenate and inspire.

One of the major cities of the Jiangsu province, Suzhou is located at the Yangtze River Delta and is one of the fastest growing cities in China.

Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou Yuanqu is within walking distance of the lake’s scenic area, Suzhou International Expo Centre and to the Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre. It is also conveniently located near the city’s subway station, offering easy access to local attractions.

The nearby high-speed train station and expressway allow quick connections to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Sunan Shuofang International Airport.
