What are three of the best off-site venues in the DFW Metroplex?
- The Nasher Sculpture Center is the most recent addition to the Dallas Arts District. With its more contemporary collection, the museum complements its artist neighbors—the Dallas Museum of Art and the Trammell Crowe Asian Arts Museum—while also providing a unique oasis in the midst of the urban jungle. Through the combination of an indoor gallery and an outdoor sculpture garden, Ray Nasher’s collection has found the perfect home. In addition to the exquisite works of art on display, the museum achieves Nasher’s dream of a roofless museum that provides an architecturally significant addition to the Arts District. Catering to the public during the day, the museum is even more spectacular in the evening as private events allow patrons to enjoy elegant gatherings among artistic giants.
- The second-largest sports and entertainment facility in America, Texas Motor Speedway plays host to NASCAR and Indy car racing, as well as private events throughout the year. A nine-story structure overlooking the track, the Speedway Club offers a variety of event and meeting spaces accommodating groups ranging from 10 to 1,000 guests. Additional event space options are available through the use of luxury suites, the inner circle garages and the track itself. Racing fans attending meetings and events at the speedway can enjoy activities ranging from speedway tours to racing schools and pit crew challenges to mini-electric car races. Regardless of activity selection, guests are sure to enjoy an exhilarating experience.
- Created by nationally renowned artist and interior designer Reg Land, 7Senses is one of Dallas’ event treasures. Starting with the belief that the most powerful memories are made when all seven senses (the standard five, plus knowing and being) are engaged, this venue offers guests an opportunity to taste, touch, see, and feel their way through a memorable event. Comprising a series of rooms, each area creates a distinctive sensory experience. Whether lounging among the decadent ambience of Morocco or checking out the industrial style of New York City, the decorative accents of each area engage the senses to evoke a memorable event experience.
