Michigan
  • Duane Schroder joined the Radisson Detroit–Bloomfield Hills as general manager. Schroder most recently served as general manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Southington, Conn., and has held positions within the food and beverage, housekeeping and front office departments for several hotels throughout New England and the Midwest.

Minnesota
  • The Holiday Inn St. Paul East at 3M Center named Kim Koenig as general manager. He is responsible for the daily operations of the hotel and will play a significant roll in the execution the hotel’s upcoming extensive renovation project. Koenig’s previous experience includes serving as general manager of the former Holiday Inn St. Paul State Capitol, controller for the Holiday Inn Las Vegas, and district controller for 10 Holiday Inn properties in Minnesota and Wisconsin… Benchmark Hospitality International appointed Fred Doyle as director of food and beverage for The Northland Inn, an all-suite hotel and executive conference center situated 15 minutes outside of downtown Minneapolis. Doyle joins The Northland Inn from the Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort, located in Granite Falls, Minn., where he served as director of hospitality and was responsible for all non-gaming revenue generating operations, including food and beverage.

Missouri
  • St. Louis-based MAC Meetings & Events hired David Emmons as a sales and marketing manager focusing on hotels, attractions, corporate events, tours, and transportation. Emmons previously served as manager of donor relations at the Saint Louis Zoo, where he oversaw donor recognition, special events and the stewardship of the Saint Louis Zoo Foundation… Dwayne Adams was appointed director of the Argosy Casino Hotel & Spa. Scheduled to open this spring in Riverside, Mo., the hotel will offer 258 guest rooms, meeting and office space, and numerous amenities. Adams assumes the post from Toronto’s Casino Rama, where he served as director of hotel operations.

Wisconsin
  • Kelly Langenecker was appointed as a national sales manager for VISIT Milwaukee. Previously serving for two years as a convention sales manager in the organization’s Milwaukee office, Langenecker is now working out of VISIT Milwaukee’s Washington, D.C. office, focusing on selling Greater Milwaukee as a destination for conventions, meetings and trade shows to associations, corporations and government organizations in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland.
