Action-packed group itineraries are easy to organize in the Triangle, where planners have access to everything from high-speed racing to high-flying fun.

Groups can into the action with the Carolina Hurricanes (919.861.2323, www.carolinahurricanes.com) at the RBC Center in Raleigh. The Hurricanes hockey team is the proud winner of the 2006 Stanley Cup Championship, and watching a great hockey game will get everyone’s adrenaline pumping. The RBC Center also has its own meeting facilities.

If hockey isn’t fast enough, groups can head to the Orange County Speedway (336.364.1222, www.ocstrack.com) in Rougemont, just north of Raleigh. The speedway features the fastest three-eighth-mile paved oval in the country and racing excitement for fans of all ages.

High-flying adventures await attendees at Carolina Barnstormers (919.408.0370, www.carolinabarnstormers.com) in Durham, where passengers board a 1940s Red Baron-like, open-cockpit Waco biplane for thrilling aerial tours. From September through June, pilot Mike Ratty provides one to two passengers at a time with the ultimate way to see the lakes and forests of the Triangle area, even swooping over Duke University.
