The Concierge

Lisa Crawford
The Chattanoogan hotel
Chattanooga, Tenn.

What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?

Because of The Chattanoogan’s great relationship with some of the best restaurants in the city, our guests receive special services, such as complimentary champagne or dessert, when dining there. I have also been able to obtain tickets to sold-out events for guests.

What are your group restaurant recommendations?
St. John’s Restaurant, 212 Market Restaurant and Southside Grill.

What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
The Foundry at The Chattanoogan, where live jazz is performed on weekends, Rhythm and Brews, and Midtown Music Hall.

Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
Walnut Street Bridge, the longest pedestrian bridge in the world, and the newly renovated riverfront.

Are there any quirky places we should check out?
Frazier Avenue, which is filled with eclectic stores, restaurants and galleries. New Moon Gallery is one of our guests’ favorites. It’s a great gallery of handcrafted artwork, stained glass, pottery, candles, wind chimes, jewelry, clothing, and more.

If we only have an hour or two, what should we definitely check out nearby?
Bluff View Arts District, a beautiful area overlooking the Tennessee River that is home to many restaurants, gardens, galleries, inns, cafes, and historic homes.
