As an epicenter of cosmopolitan culture in the Northwest, Seattle and its surrounding areas dish out a wide range of cuisine and restaurant settings that are just as diverse. Following are some of the region’s best bets for group dining.

Seattle

  • Tulio Ristorante (206.624.5500; www.tulio.com) treats visitors to local favorites such as its veal chop and sweet potato gnocchi. The restaurant’s private dining room can host groups of 65 for sit-down dinners and 90 for receptions.

  • At Rover’s Restaurant (206.325.7442; www.rovers-seattle.com), situated in a renovated house, trademark dishes include scrambled eggs with lime creme fraiche and white sturgeon caviar. Up to 24 guests can eat in the private dining room, and groups of up to 60 people are welcome to rent out the restaurant.

Bellevue
  • Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar (425.456.0010; www.seastarrestaurant.com) dazzles guests with its signature cedar-plank-cooked king crab legs, salmon and mushrooms. Groups can dine outside or in the restaurant’s many meeting rooms, all of which have audiovisual capabilities.

  • The sea of pool tables at The Parlor Billiards & Spirits (425.289.7000; www.parlorbilliards.com) is complemented by a menu of everything from gourmet burgers and pizza to fresh banana mousse. Groups of up to 50 people can have buffet-style dinners in one of the property’s two private rooms.

Seattle Southside
  • Gordon’s on the Green (206.267.7427; www.gordonsonthegreen.com), located at Tukwila’s Foster Golf Links, is a casual dining restaurant noted for its pork ribs and smoked chicken. The eatery also offers groups a tented area for up to 100 people, two indoor meeting rooms and a lounge for up to 25 people.

  • SeaTac’s 13 Coins Restaurant (206.243.9500; www.13coins.com) offers Italian-American cuisine 24/7, including tasty pasta dishes and chicken parmigiana, and caters to groups with two private dining rooms, one hosting up to 30 attendees.

Tacoma
  • Indochine (253.272.8200; www.indochinedowntown.com) is a popular Asian eatery featuring a spacious yet intimate setting and dishes such as toasted sesame chicken wraps and wild salmon steak. The restaurant features several private dining areas for up to 60 guests.

  • 21 Commerce Restaurant & Martini Bar (253.272.6278; www.21martinis.com) welcomes visitors with a loft-like atmosphere and serves everything from beef and chicken satay dishes to 21 unique variations of martinis. The venue boasts a private dining space for up to 75 guests and a nightclub, which is also available for group events.

Snohomish County
  • Lombardi’s Neighborhood Italian (425.252.1886; www.lombardiscucina.com), located in the Everett Marina, offers waterfront views and fine dining, with dishes such as tortellini gorgonzola and chicken saltimbocca. Groups are welcome in the facility’s well-appointed private dining room.

  • Known for its storied past as a speakeasy during the days of prohibition, Charles at Smugglers Cove (425.347.2700; www.charlesatsmugglerscove.com) overlooks Possession Bay in Mukilteo and has three private dining rooms accommodating up to 50 guests. The menu includes dishes such as chateaubriand, rack of lamb and fresh salmon.
