What are three of the best ways for groups to experience the arts in Omaha?
  • Joslyn Art Museum is the largest and most prestigious art museum in the entire Midwest region. It is a beautiful site! They have been in Omaha since the 1930s and have a mesmerizing collection of renowned works. As a personal patron, I enjoy visiting the museum to see their Degas and Monet pieces. The Joslyn is also an exceptional event space for social gatherings, corporate affairs and seminars because they have fabulous event space plus a state-of-the-art lecture hall. Guest lecturers, musicians and art classes are held at the Joslyn, and Omahans are very proud of this fine building. We hosted a national speaker in the IT field in the Strauss Hall, and our attendees were able to gather, network and visit the museum while attending the seminar. It was great!

  • Qwest Center Omaha is the “it” place. Besides the fact that is has rejuvenated downtown Omaha and our riverfront scene, it provides top convention and meeting space and an arena that is breaking international records in attendance for concert-goers. Omaha is now boasting about acts such as U2, Paul McCartney, John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, and Billy Joel. The Qwest Center has put Omaha on an A-list for concerts and performance acts and has been a public relations buzz.

  • The Holland Performing Arts Center is a New York showcase located in downtown Omaha. This pristine facility has been featured heavily by both regional and national press. MSNBC did an excellent story about the quality of the facility and its unbelievable acoustics. This is another place to experience the arts that also offers wonderful special event space. Anything goes here; acts include Bobby McFerrin, BB King and the Philadelphia Orchestra. We were fortunate to plan a high-level event for guest speaker Andrew Card, who used the concert hall, plus we’ve done special events under the huge multiple-story windows with views of the Omaha skyline, which is breathtaking.
