Experience Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak

What are three of the best dining experiences you would recommend for groups visiting Colorado Springs?

  • Summit: This restaurant in the Broadmoor Hotel is one of my favorites. It serves American Brasserie fare, and the American in that menu is very recognizable and accessible. The chef focuses on local and seasonal ingredients, drawing from the best farmers and purveyors he can find.

  • The Cliff House: The Cliff House Dining Room is one of the premier dining experiences in Colorado. It has the majestic Rocky Mountains as a backdrop and a modern Victorian decor. Riedel crystal wine glasses, Villeroy and Boch china, Christofle flatware, and Damask linens all speak to the quality that is embodied at this AAA Four Diamond restaurant. The restaurant’s wine list has over 850 selections and multiple awards from Wine Spectator magazine, and there are six certified sommeliers to guide guests through the choices.

  • The Pepper Tree: The Pepper Tree has a new look for the 21st century. Its cuisine, ambience and service, however, remain the same—impeccable. For legendary fine dining, it’s a Colorado Springs tradition. Perched on a hilltop, The Pepper Tree has one of the most breathtaking views in the city. The atmosphere is very formal (the wait staff wears tuxedos), and it is popular with the Colorado Springs social set. Diners are treated to meals prepared right at their table—a nice touch of personal service.
