- The St. Regis Resort, Fort Lauderdale is scheduled to open May 1. - At press time, the Resort at Singer Island was scheduled to open in late March. Part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury Collection, the $210 million, 21-story property is the first new resort to be built on Palm Beach County’s Singer Island in 20 years. - The Skirvin Hilton Oklahoma City opened in late February. The ornate and grand downtown hotel, which originally opened in 1911 (four years after statehood) but had been boarded up for nearly 20 years, completed an 18-month, $55 million property-wide renovation prior to opening. - The Williamsburg Lodge is now fully reopened following three years of Colonial Williamsburg visitor improvements that cost more than $220 million.
