  • The High Museum of Art Atlanta is presenting Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer’s Life, 1990–2005 through Sept. 9. This special exhibition encompasses 175 images Leibovitz created on assignment as a professional photographer, as well as personal photographs of her family and close friends. Originally displayed last year at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the Liebovitz collection includes portraits of Mick Jagger, Chris Rock, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Scarlett Johansson, William Burroughs, Demi Moore, and President Bush at the White House.   • This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Mississippi Delta Blues and Heritage Festival, the second-oldest continuously operating blues festival in the country. Put on by Mississippi Action for Community Education (MACE), the festival has over the years featured top names, including B.B. King, Robert Cray, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Albert King, and Denise LaSalle. The day-long event, this year held on Sept. 15 in Greenville, Miss., is preceded by Blues Week, including a blues film festival and street parties.
