Do you have a favorite restaurant with a private dining room that you rely on for off-site events?
I’ve twice used Alchemy at CopperWynd Resort and Club outside of Phoenix and would not hesitate to recommend it. Although it is at CopperWynd, due to the size of the hotel (small number of sleeping rooms) we consider it an off-site.
What dish at this particular restaurant has won over groups?
At Alchemy, with its Sonoran Desert-based menu, my attendees couldn’t get enough of the pulled pork and blue corn sarape (served with a chipotle-orange glaze and grilled apple salsa).
Why book a restaurant for an event?
I usually book restaurants for an out-of-the-box atmosphere. If I know my group is in meetings for three days, and we’re doing events at the hotel for three days, a restaurant just gives a change of pace to the entire program. With Alchemy, my attendees were actually in town for a larger conference, and my client wanted to specifically invite/entertain them. So choosing a nice restaurant in that location was a means for attracting them to come to dinner.
