What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?

South Beach is a world destination renowned for its hip and chic nightlife. I have worked on South Beach for over eight years and have built personal and lasting relationships with managers at nightclubs, lounges and restaurants. Establishing strong bonds allows us to arrange the best VIP tables with local venues for our guests, giving them personalized experiences they will never forget.

What are your group restaurant recommendations?
Conveniently located on our property is Emeril’s Miami Beach, bringing wonderful flavors of New World New Orleans cuisine right here to Miami. The venue can accommodate parties of up to 200 patrons. If you prefer to dine off-property you should try Tuscan Steak, offering a unique family-style dining experience, Tantra for a trendy restaurant-lounge experience and Smith & Wollensky, which offers the best waterfront dining Miami has to offer.

What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
Hemisphere Lounge, located in the lobby of our hotel, is a great place to relax and unwind, with over 200 different martinis to choose from. If you like dancing to the wee hours of the morning, you should check out Mansion, which offers multiple dance floors and does not close its doors until 5 a.m. If you prefer a lounge atmosphere, Set is one of the best hot spots these days.

Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
Lincoln Road is inviting to visitors wanting to take a stroll day or night, offering dozens of cafe restaurants and boutique shops. Every Sunday, the city hosts the Lincoln Road Farmers Market, featuring local artists, unique tropical fruit and amazing produce from local vendors.

Are there any quirky places we should check out?
Madame’s Restaurant and Cabaret Lounge is one of Miami’s great restaurants, featuring a rare, live theatrical dining experience in a Moulin Rouge setting. This venue can also accommodate parties of up to 100 guests for dinner.

If we only have an hour or two, what should we definitely check out nearby?
If you have some spare time, I strongly suggest visiting our new Elemis Spa, offering numerous options to pamper yourself. You can enjoy one of their distinct services, such as the Exotic Coconut Rub and Milk Wrap, Aroma Stone Therapy or receive a Chinese Herbal Medicine Consultation.

What is an unusual request you’ve had from a group?
We had an incentive group that arrived on a chartered flight. Everything was running smoothly until the day of their departure, when the charter company notified them of a mechanical failure causing the aircraft to be grounded. It took us a few hours to accomplish, but we were successful in securing a chartered Boeing 737 for the safe return of our client’s top performers to work.

A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
Miami has a large selection of restaurants and a well-connected concierge should not have any problems finding a couple of options and securing at least one, even if it is a last-minute request.

What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
It was a premiere episode of “Now Who’s Boss” that was filmed with Jonathan Tisch, chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels. During the casting, Mr. Tisch had assumed a variety of roles, including that of bellman, breakfast cook, room service waiter, front desk clerk, pool attendant, and housekeeper.
