  • National park concessionaire Xanterra Parks & Resorts unveiled its Green Suites at Zion Lodge in Utah’s Zion National Park. The goal of the project is to reduce the consumption of natural resources and eliminate waste by incorporating as many environmentally sustainable features as possible, such as renewable solar and wind energy; all-natural biodegradable soap, shampoos and moisturizers in bulk dispensers; filtered drinking water faucets to deter use of disposable plastic water bottles; and key-card light controls to conserve energy.
