- The Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort (386.254.8200; www.daytonahilton.com) recently unveiled The Spa at Hilton Daytona Beach, which is located on the lobby level and features three massage and skin treatment rooms, one manicure/pedicure room complete with a hydrotherapy tub, and separate men’s and women’s locker rooms. On Nov. 30, the property also introduced its newest restaurant, Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, the first Hyde Park in Florida, with space available for business meetings and events. The 744-room Hilton offers more than 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space.
Space Coast
- The Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront (321.777.5000; www.hilton.com) is adding a second free-standing tower that will include 82 oceanfront rooms, all with private balconies, as well as two seventh-floor oceanview meeting rooms, each measuring 1,200 square feet. Instead of projection screens, the meeting rooms will feature plasma media centers that will work directly with laptop computers for state-of-the-art presentations. The new tower is scheduled to open by early March.
- The Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral (321.784.0000; www.radisson.com/capecanaveralfl) just put the finishing touches on a total renovation of its 8,000-square-foot convention center. The property offers a total of 30,000 square feet of meeting space, making it one of the region’s largest convention venues.
