  • A statue of Happy Days’ The Fonz is in the works for downtown Milwaukee. Gerald Sawyer, a Wisconsin artist who has been involved in bronze sculpture for 40 years, was commissioned to design the piece. Fonzie fans now have a website to learn everything about the planned statue, www.bronzethefonz.com. Milwaukee-based Brew City Promotions designed the official “Bronze the Fonz” T-shirts and they are exclusively available for order on the site for $22, with $10 going to SPARK (Spheres of Proud Achievement in Reading for Kids), a children’s learning program. The dedication of the statue is tentatively scheduled for this fall. For more information, contact Visit Milwaukee at 414.273.3950 or visit www.visitmilwaukee.org.
