Denver
- The Curtis Hotel (303.571.0300; www.thecurtis.com) opened last year with 336 guest rooms and 19,000 square feet of meeting space.
- The Ritz-Carlton, Denver (303.312.3800; www.ritzcarlton.com) opened in January with 202 guest rooms and 13,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Construction is under way on the Four Seasons Hotel Denver (800.332.3442; www.fourseasons.com), slated for completion in July 2010. The hotel will offer 230 guest rooms and 16,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Plans are in the works for the new W Hotel and Residences (212.380.4000; www.starwood.com) in Denver’s LoDo district. The 12-story hotel is slated to open in 2010 with 180 guest rooms, 56 residential units and meeting facilities.
- A $4 million guest room renovation of the Denver Marriott West (303.279.9100; www.marriott.com) was completed earlier this year. The hotel offers 303 guest rooms and 9,600 square feet of function space.
- The 242-room Sheraton Denver West Hotel (303.987.2000; www.starwoodhotels.com), located about eight miles from Denver in Lakewood, Colo., opened its 10,000-square-foot Aura Spa and Wellness Center in October. The property houses 18,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Adam’s Mark–The Hotel of Denver (303.893.3333; www.adamsmark.com/denver) will be reflagged a Sheraton this spring after a property-wide facelift. The hotel offers 1,225 guest rooms and 133,000 square feet of meeting space.
- The Brown Palace Hotel (303.297.3111; www.brownpalace.com) plans to finish an $8 million guest room bathroom renovation by the end of 2008. The 241-room hotel offers 13,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Holiday Inn Denver–International Airport Area (303.371.9494; www.ichotelsgroup.com) will be reflagged a Crowne Plaza this month following upgrades to its main entrance area. The 255-room hotel features approximately 79,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Denver Airport Marriott at Gateway Park (303.371.4333; www.marriott.com), located at Denver International Airport, plans to complete a guest room renovation in mid-April. The hotel offers 227 guest rooms and more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space.
Colorado Springs
- The Colorado Springs Marriott (719.260.1800; www.marriott.com) finished renovations to its guest rooms in September. The property contains 309 guest rooms and 24,000 square feet of meeting space.
- The Crowne Plaza Hotel Colorado Springs (719.576.5900; www.ichotelsgroup.com) plans to finish a $12 million renovation this summer. The property offers 500 guest rooms and 43,000 square feet of meeting space.
- The Broadmoor Colorado Springs (719.634.7711; www.broadmoor.com) plans to begin construction on 42 individual cottages in August. The cottages, which will be located next to the hotel’s golf course and incorporated into the property’s guest room inventory, will be finished in May 2009. The hotel currently offers 700 guest rooms and 185,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Cheyenne Mountain Resort (719.538.4000; www.cheyennemountain.com) plans to wrap up the first phase of a $6 million refurbishment to public spaces, several meeting rooms and many guest rooms in June. Additional meeting space improvements will be completed by the end of the year, and a renovation of the remaining guest rooms will be finished in spring 2009.
Boulder
- Hotel Boulderado (303.442.4344; www.boulderado.com) completed a lobby renovation in early 2007 and plans to finish a soft goods meeting space upgrade by the end of April. The 160-room hotel offers 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Boulder Marriott (303.440.8877; www.marriott.com) finished a property-wide renovation in early 2007. The hotel offers 157 guest rooms and 5,400 square feet of meeting space.
Fort Collins
- Hilton Fort Collins (970.482.2626; www.hilton.com) plans to finish a guest room renovation in May. The hotel offers 255 guest rooms and 18,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Fort Collins Marriott (970.226.5200; www.marriott.com) plans to complete a guest room renovation this month. The hotel offers 16,200 square feet of meeting space.
Estes Park
- Holiday Inn Rocky Mountain Park (970.586.2332; www.foreverresorts.com) recently completed a guest room renovation. The property houses 155 guest rooms and 16,000 square feet of meeting space.
Grand Junction
- Courtyard Grand Junction (970.263.4414; www.marriott.com) opened in June 2007 with 136 guest rooms and more than 5,300 square feet of meeting space.
- Doubletree Hotel Grand Junction (970.241.8888; www.hilton.com) finished a lobby and guest room renovation last year. The property houses 273 guest rooms and 12,700 square feet of meeting space.
Mountain Resorts
- The Arrabelle at Vail Square, A RockResort (970.754.7777; www.arrabelle.rockresorts.com) opened in January with 36 guest rooms, 50 residential units, a 2,280-square-foot ballroom and four additional meeting rooms, and a spa.
Vail Plaza Hotel & Club (970.477.8000; www.vailplazahotel.com) opened in December with 100 guest rooms, 7,000 square feet of meeting space and several residential units.
- Manor Vail Resort and Conference Center (970.476.5000; www.manorvail.com) closed April 1, 2007, for a massive renovation and expansion project and plans to unveil the new and improved resort in July. The property will feature 140 condos (rentable as guest units) and 8,700 square feet of meeting space.

- A $30 million refurbishment is under way at the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa (970.476.7111; www.vailcascade.com) and slated for completion in December. The resort offers 292 guest rooms and a 35,000-square-foot conference center.
- Keystone Lodge and Spa, A RockResort (970.496.3000; www.keystonelodge.rockresorts.com) completed a spa renovation in November. The resort offers 152 guest rooms and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Breckenridge’s Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center (970.453.6000; www.beaverrun.com) finished a $3 million refurbishment last June that added a 2,800-square-foot ballroom and upgraded its meeting rooms and lobby bar. In addition, the property added a spa in January 2007. The hotel features 515 guest rooms and 38,000 square feet of meeting space.
- Aspen’s Sky Hotel (970.925.6760; www.theskyhotel.com) finished renovating its restaurant, common areas and lobby in November. The 90-room hotel offers 3,300 square feet of meeting space.
- The 98-room Aspen Meadows Resort (970.925.4240; http://aspenmeadowsresort.dolce.com) opened the new Doerr-Hosier Center last year, which boosted its total square footage of meeting space to 22,000.
- Aspen’s Limelight Lodge (970.925.3025; www.limelightlodge.com) closed in early 2007 for a full refurbishment and is expected to reopen in November. The hotel will have 120 guest rooms and 1,400 square feet of meeting space.
