Describe your event.
It was a boot fit training program for 60 technicians from ski and snowboard shops held at The Chateau Resort and Conference Center.

Why did you decide to host the meeting in the Poconos?
We conduct programs across the U.S. and Canada, and target regions with heavy concentrations of ski and snowboard shops. The Poconos is well located to attract attendees from as far south as Virginia and as far north as the New York metro area. We also hold a session in southern Vermont to serve New England shops.

What did your attendees seem to enjoy the most?
The reasonable drive time from most locations and the reasonable lodging and restaurant prices.

Was anybody particularly helpful at a venue or property?
The staff at The Chateau was very professional and we had a very smooth event.

How does the Poconos compare to other places where you have hosted meetings?
Very well. We look for locations with easy access from our target markets. It was reasonably priced for the services and goods we received. We do some programs in downtown areas and they are way more expensive for both us and attendees.

Would you return?
Yes. We plan to hold our event there again this fall.
