  • The Courtyard by Marriott Boston/Cambridge, a newly renovated 203-room boutique hotel located on the banks of the Charles River, recently made its debut. Formerly a Radisson, the 16-story hotel offers 6,000 square feet of meeting space as well as a business center with individual workstations.   • At the 14-story Berkshire Crowne Plaza Hotel, plans call for a $2 million renovation for the grand ballroom, banquet facilities and two of its three restaurants. The hotel offers an indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness center as well as 8,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. While many floors of guest accommodations have already been refurbished, additional renovations are planned for the remaining guest rooms. The current project is scheduled for completion by December.   • The Boston Marriott Long Wharf marked its 25th anniversary with a $16 million renovation, including all guest rooms, suites and corridors, as well as a Concierge Lounge and the 8,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom. Guest room improvements include the addition of 37-inch LCD televisions as well as wired and wireless high-speed Internet access. There are 11 new Executive King Suites, while the hotel now also offers two Luxury Waterfront Suites, which are each about 600 square feet with a 200-square-foot balcony overlooking Boston Harbor. Waterfront suites feature 42-inch LCD televisions. The Concierge Lounge, now nearly twice its original size and completely renovated, also features views of the Boston Harbor.   • The Hanover Marriott in Whippany recently completed a $4 million ballroom and meeting space renovation. Additionally, the renovation involved the creation of coves outside the third-floor meeting rooms for coffee breaks. The Hanover Marriott offers 19 meeting rooms and 18,850 square feet of meeting space. The newly renovated ballroom features 10,750 square feet of space with a total seating capacity of 1,000 people.
