What are three great nightlife experiences you would recommend for groups meetings in Memphis?

  • Beale Street: With over 25 clubs and restaurants in the heart of downtown Memphis, Beale Street has something for everyone, including some of the best live entertainment in the world. Depending on the client’s needs, we can offer BBQ at Blues City Cafe, great blues at Rum Boogie Cafe, soul food at Miss Polly’s, or dancing the night away at EP Delta Kitchen & Bar. Handy Park also affords groups an opportunity to host outdoor concerts and events. Most clubs are open until 5:00 a.m., so we recommend saving Beale Street for a closing night celebration. Otherwise you’ll need to provide Bloody Marys and sunglasses for your morning session.

  • Lee’s Landing: Located one block from Beale Street and anchored by the FedEx Forum and Gibson Guitar Factory, this new development offers two new venues that opened this spring: Ground Zero Blues Club and Red Rooster. Serving items like fried green tomatoes and Mississippi caviar, Ground Zero is a restaurant and blues club owned in part by actor Morgan Freeman. Red Rooster Bar and Music Hall offers interactive fun like “kamikaze karaoke.” Street parties are an option here, with multiple venues that can be bought out for larger groups.

  • Tunica, Miss.: A short 30-minute drive from downtown Memphis, Tunica is the South’s casino capital, with 10 casino resorts. Harrah’s, which has three hotels, is the largest. Group event options can include gambling, headline entertainment or a one-of-a-kind experience at the 186-acre Tunica RiverPark, which features spectacular views of the Mississippi River. The Tunica Queen is docked at the park.
