National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

This 158,000-square-foot facility tells the heroic tale of the struggle to abolish slavery and the brave, and often ingenious, efforts to secure freedom for those escaping bondage. Event spaces in this $65 million facility with sweeping views of the Ohio River include the Grand Hall (max. cap 400, seated; 600, cocktail); The Hall of Everday Freedom Heroes (max. cap 125, seated; 225, cocktail); the 300-seat, state-of-the-art Harriet Tubman Theater; and two outside terraces with expansive views of the skyline and river. www.freedomcenter.org


Taft Museum of Art

A National Historic Landmark built in the 1820s, the Taft offers an extensive art collection along with event spaces that include a tented garden area (max. cap 250, seated; 300, cocktail) available May through October and the multipurpose Luther Hall (max. cap 110, seated; 150, cocktail). Aronoff Center for the Arts

Designed by famed architect Cesar Pelli, The Aronoff consists of three spectacular performance spaces: the 2,719-seat Procter & Gamble Hall, 437-seat Jarson-Kaplan Theater and the 150-seat Fifth Third Bank Theater. The Fifth Third Bank facility can be configured for dinners and dances for up to 180 attendees, and with its ample lighting and sound capabilities is ideal for presentations, conferences, meetings or parties. Additional areas include a Rehearsal Hall; three tiers of lobby areas with capacities ranging from 80 for a sit-down dinner to 1,000 for stand-up receptions; the two-level, 3,500-square-foot Alice F. and Harris K. Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal

This landmark 1933 Art Deco home of the Cincinnati History Museum, Duke Energy Children’s Museum, Museum of Natural History & Science and the Robert D. Lindner Family Omnimax Theatre offers a jaw-dropping Rotunda and a 300-seat auditorium, along with original dining rooms and other spaces to accommodate nearly any size of meeting.
