- The Santa Clara Convention Center (408.748.7000; www.santaclara.org) is expanding its offerings with a new 22,400-square-foot ballroom. Upon completion of the project in summer 2009, the ballroom will be able to accommodate 2,700 people theater style and 1,250 banquet style, and up to 111 exhibit booths.
- The Hyatt Regency Santa Clara (408.200.1234; www.santaclara.hyatt.com) recently completed a renovation of all 501 rooms and suites. The rooms received new furnishings and decor, flat-screen TVs, redesigned bathrooms and expanded work stations with a variety of technology features.
