What are three of the most interesting neighbor-hoods for attendees to explore in Cleveland?

  • Tremont and Ohio City: Located just minutes from downtown, Tremont is home to a multitude of galleries, award-winning restaurants and boutique shopping, not to mention some of the best views of Cleveland. Visitors should also take note of the extraordinary architecture in this area. Adjacent to Tremont is a very lively and ethnically diverse neighborhood, Ohio City. Here, one can shop Cleveland’s oldest market, visit more galleries or imbibe at one of many microbreweries and restaurants. Groups can take a walking tour through the neighborhood, stop in the Great Lakes Brewery for a bite and catch a show at the Near West Theater

  • Little Italy: The urban neighborhood of Little Italy can be found just down the hill from Cleveland’s arts and culture epicenter, University Circle, and within walking distance of Case Western Reserve University. As Cleveland’s center for Italian culture, visitors to Little Italy will find restaurants of all flavors, bakeries, cafes and spas. A bustling arts community, this neighborhood is home to more than 30 galleries offering traditional and contemporary works. When you’re visiting, take note of Guarino’s, Ohio’s first Italian restaurant and the place where Chef Hector Boiardi (aka Chef Boyardee) launched his career.

  • Chagrin Falls: If you want to visit an area seemingly plucked from a Norman Rockwell painting, then Chagrin Falls should be your first stop. Take the scenic drive to this quaint town and visit the many unique shops, one-of-a-kind galleries and boutiques. Stroll through the historic hardware shop, stop for a snack in the area’s most famous popcorn shop and note the multitude of Victorian buildings. No visit would be complete without taking in the city’s namesake waterfalls in Riverside Park. Finish your trip to Chagrin Falls by taking a break at 87 West bar and restaurant, where the street-side patio is just the place to watch the world go by.
