The Montage Beverly Hills (310.860.7800; www.montagebeverlyhills.com) opened in November. A block from the shops of Rodeo Drive, the Montage offers 201 guest rooms and suites, a 20,000-square-foot spa, two signature restaurants and more than 9,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Waldorf=Astoria Beverly Hills (www.waldorfastoria1.hilton.com) is slated to open in 2011 at the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards. The luxury hotel will be located across from the Beverly Hilton and feature 170 guest rooms.
West Hollywood
Andaz West Hollywood (323.656.1234; www.westhollywood.hyatt.com), which opened in January, is the first of the new Hyatt brand to debut in the U.S. It features 257 guest rooms and 5,500 square feet of meeting space.
The London West Hollywood (310.358.7712; www.thelondonwesthol lywood.com), formerly the Bel Age Hotel, completed a $40 million facelift last year. It offers 200 suites, a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and almost 16,000 square feet of meeting space.
West Los Angeles
Hyatt Regency Century Plaza (310.228.1234; www.centuryplaza.hyatt.com) in Century City recently finished a renovation of its guest rooms, Lobby Court Lounge, reception area and executive conference center.
Santa Monica
Hotel Shangri-La (310.394.2791; www.shangrila-hotel.com) in Santa Monica recently reopened after a $30 million renovation. The property has 71 guest rooms and suites, and its rooftop meeting rooms hold up to 100 guests and have sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Hollywood Hills, Malibu and Catalina Island.
The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage (310.434.3412; www.thebroadstage.com), a 499-seat theater in Santa Monica, opened in September. The venue is available for group events, including full buyouts.
