Park Lane Hotel & Suites (843.686.5700; www.hiltonheadparklanehotel.com) completed a $5 million renovation to its meeting rooms, lobby, swimming pool and spa in 2008. The property has 156 guest rooms and 1,600 square feet of meeting space.
The 11-acre Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort (843.842.2400; www.cphilton head.com) recently completed a $2 million renovation that included enhancements to the guest rooms, ballroom and fitness areas. The oceanfront property offers 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 10,000-square-foot ballroom and a 7,000-square-foot outdoor pavilion.
Hilton Garden Inn Hilton Head (843.837.8111; www.hiltongardeninn.com) finished $500,000 in renovations, including updates to meeting space, the outdoor swimming pool and the 24-hour business center. The property has 104 guest rooms and 1,800 square feet of meeting space.
Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa (843.681.4000; www.starwoodhotels.com) recently completed its Heavenly Spa, making it the first Starwood Spa Collection property in the continental U.S. The 412-room resort offers nine treatment rooms. The property has 28,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 13,200-square-foot ballroom.
In 2008, Hilton Oceanfront Resort Hilton Head Island (843.842.8000; www.hiltonoceanfrontresort.com) opened a new oceanfront restaurant, HH prime, and a nightclub, XO Lounge. This spring, the property is adding another new eatery, Palmetto Market, which will offer freshly prepared salads, sandwiches and pizzas in an indoor-outdoor setting. The property features 323 studio guest suites, 15,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and a 10,000-square-foot, open-air shore house for events.
