- Diego Heredia was hired as general manager of Viceroy Palm Springs. Diego will oversee all operations at the desert resort and spa located at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains. Most recently, Heredia was hotel manager of Viceroy Santa Monica. Before that, he was hotel manager at Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills. He also spent several years working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts…The Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach Hotel appointed Gary Kohler director of sales and marketing...Keri Robinson was named area managing director for Starwood Hotels and Resorts in San Diego as well as general manager for the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, which recently underwent a $28 million renovation. Robinson was previously the general manager of the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. Prior to joining the Sheraton Seattle, she was the general manager of The Westin Pasadena and the general manager of the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel.
Colorado
- Rob Henderson was appointed director of sales and marketing for Viceroy Snowmass. Henderson will oversee all sales and marketing operations for the resort, set within the new $1 billion Snowmass Base Village development. The hotel will open later this year. Most recently, Henderson was director of sales and marketing at the St. Regis Resort in Aspen and also led the sales teams at Garden of Gods Club in Colorado Springs and Vail Cascade Resort.
