What are three unique off-site venues you would recommend for groups meeting in Myrtle Beach?

  • Broadway at the Beach: This is one of the largest entertainment complexes in the Southeast and the largest festival entertainment complex in South Carolina. The 350-acre attraction is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. It includes more than 100 specialty stores, 20 restaurants, three hotels, attractions and nightlife. All of the fun is situated around the 23-acre Lake Broadway. Groups can experience Broadway’s version of the hit TV show The Amazing Race or enjoy a taste of the area through a dine-around, then hit one of 11 nightclubs in Celebrity Square. There is a dizzying array of variety: comedy, live music, movies, amusement park rides and so much more.

  • Freestyle Music Park: For groups visiting the area from May through September, this 55-acre theme park is set to be a hit with groups. It’s the first theme park in the world that is dedicated to music lovers of all ages and genres. It features multiple stages with live entertainment, numerous group dining options and thrill rides for all ages. The venue offers group rates.

  • Pine Lakes Country Club: For a true taste and feel of that Southern tradition, enjoy dinner at the property’s newly restored 1920s-era ballroom overlooking perfectly manicured gardens. The country club was designed by architect Robert White, the first president of the Professional Golf Association. The property’s golf course is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Following dinner, groups can head to one of the area’s live theaters, offering the best in music, comedy and dance.
