Describe your event. The 44th Annual Gun & Missile Systems Conference & Exhibition was held April 6-9 in Kansas City. This conference provided a forum for discussing methods to enhance defense-related capabilities not only through available technology, but also through development of personnel. Including our exhibitors, we had about 306 in attendance. The conference was held at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center.

What surprised you the most about Kansas City? The new downtown area. There are many attractions and restaurants that our attendees can visit in the Power & Light District.

What did your attendees seem to enjoy the most? Many of our attendees commented on the food. Since we only held receptions in the evening, many went out afterwards to grab dinner and were surprised at the amount of restaurant options.

Was anybody particularly helpful? The service and help we received at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been easier to work with. They were very accommodating.

Would you return? Most definitely.

Do you have any advice for other planners who might bring a meeting to Kansas City? My suggestion is to stay at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center. The staff definitely helped make our meeting a success.
