Our July issue, in good part, is about rising tides.

Perhaps previously considered on the budget end of the spectrum, SMERF groups are now relative darlings in the eyes of up-market properties looking to put heads in beds during the downturn.
On the destination front, our “Dressed for Success” piece, sails the South to spotlight destinations that are emerging as meetings magnets, with drive-to markets able to steer more groups their way in this challenging economy—SMERF groups are a factor here, too.
