- The National World War II Museum’s new complex, comprised of The Victory Theater, Stage Door Canteen and The American Sector restaurant, is readying for its debut in November. The museum’s $60 million newest addition to its $300 million expansion spans 70,000 square feet. The centerpiece will be the 250-seat Victory Theater. The museum is proceeding apace with building the new six-acre, 300,000-square-foot campus, of which the Victory Theater complex is only the first phase. When completed by 2015, the museum will boast four additional exhibition buildings as well as space for traveling collections and a parade ground, in addition to its existing facilities. The Work in Paradise offers are available for meetings and events booked and consumed by Dec. 30, and are tiered based on the number of paid room nights. Groups booking 50 to 200 total room nights receive a 5 percent rebate and choose one incentive while groups booking 201 to 300 total room nights receive a 7 percent rebate and select two incentives. Groups with 301 total room nights or more receive a 10 percent rebate and may choose three incentives. Incentives options include three VIP suite upgrades, complimentary daily morning break service, complimentary room ratio of 1 per 35 paid room nights, complimentary one-hour welcome reception and 25 percent allowable attrition.
