Describe your event. It’s an annual event called Agency Appreciation for our top agents. Approximately 300 people attend.

Why did you decide to host the event in Williamsburg? We are licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. We try to rotate between the states we are licensed in, and this year was Virginia. We decided to do a family event for the first time to celebrate our 25th Silver Anniversary and our 10th Anniversary for Agency Appreciation. Williamsburg seemed like a great choice because of the variety of venues available for families.

What did your attendees seem to enjoy the most? We stayed at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa, which is a wonderful choice for families, with beautiful grounds, restaurants on-site, two pools, a nice game room and workout facilities. Attendees also enjoyed the accessibility to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg.

What other types of groups would fit well with the property? Virtually any group would enjoy the Kingsmill. It is a beautiful property, well maintained, they do a wonderful job with the catering, the restaurants on-site are good, the meeting facilities are good, and they offer many other amenities. And the spa is wonderful!

Would you return? Most definitely within four to five years, as we rotate through the other states.
