  • Holiday Inn Select Boston/Woburn is undergoing Phase II of a renovation. The focus is to modernize the hotel’s lobby and function space.   • Omni Hotels in August became a partner with CNL Lifestyle Properties in operating the Mount Washington Resort, located in Bretton Woods at the base of Mount Washington. The resort, which opened in 1902, is now flagged the Omni Mount Washington Resort and is home to 365 guest rooms in three lodging facilities: The Mount Washington Hotel, the Bretton Arms Inn and The Lodge. The resort recently completed a multimillion-dollar restoration and renovation project that included a new 25,000-square-foot spa, a 20,000-square-foot conference center, an outdoor swimming pool complex and guest rooms at the Mount Washington Hotel.   • HEI Hotels & Resorts recently acquired the 353-room Hanover Marriott in Whippany for $27 million. The hotel will undergo a $20 million renovation to upgrade all public and private spaces, including the introduction of Marriott’s Great Room concept, breaking the lobby’s public space into separate areas for work and socializing. Guest rooms offer high-speed Internet access, and the hotel features 18,850 square feet of meeting space, including 22 meeting rooms and the largest Grand Ballroom in Morris County, accommodating up to 1,000 guests.
