The former Hyatt Regency at Union Station, the city’s grand Victorian-era railroad station, reopened as the St. Louis Union Station Marriott (314.621.5262; www.marriott.com) and finished an $8 million upgrade of its garden rooms and a $1.2 million renovation of its historic Regency Club rooms.

The historic Chase Park Plaza (314.633.3000; www.chaseparkplaza.com) has been transformed by a $20 million guest room renovation that also included refurbishing all public spaces and meeting areas. The hotel has also added 89 new guest rooms.

The 875-room Renaissance Grand and Suites Hotel (314.621.9600; www.marriott.com), adjacent to the America’s Center convention complex, has undergone additional updates and renovations, including new lounge carpeting and furniture and additional health club equipment.

In the Clayton business district, the former Radisson Clayton has been reflagged the Crowne Plaza St. Louis-Clayton (314.726.5400; www.cpclayton.com) and recently added 61 guest rooms and suites for a total of 257 rooms, including a two-story Presidential Suite and a Governor’s Suite.

264 guest rooms and lobby. -
The Holiday Inn Airport Oakland Park (314.427.4700; www.holidayinn.com) wrapped a multimillion-dollar renovation that included all 158 guest rooms, the lobby and front desk, meeting and banquet space, the fitness center and the restaurant and lounge.

296 guest rooms, including upgrades to the Grand Ballroom and a redesign of its signature restaurant, the Blue Fire Grill. -
Hilton recently opened a new 100-room Hilton Garden Inn (636.532.9400; www.hiltongardeninn.com) in the Chesterfield community of St. Louis County. The property features a 24-hour business center, meeting space for up to 75 people, a fitness center and a full-service restaurant.
