  • The 135-room boutique Moonrise Hotel (314.721.1111; www.moonrisehotel.com) opened in April along Delmar Boulevard and features 10 luxury suites, a rooftop bar and quirky moon-themed artwork.

  • The all-suite Residence Inn by Marriott-Downtown (314.289.7500; www.marriott.com) recently opened on the west end of downtown and offers 72 extra-large studios, 81 one-bedroom suites and 34 two-bedroom suites.

  • Downtown’s Crowne Plaza Hotel (314.621.8200; www.stlouishotels.crowneplaza.com) recently wrapped up phase one of a $10 million renovation of its guest rooms and its popular Atrium Lounge.

  • The former Hyatt Regency at Union Station, the city’s grand Victorian-era railroad station, reopened as the St. Louis Union Station Marriott (314.621.5262; www.marriott.com) and finished an $8 million upgrade of its garden rooms and a $1.2 million renovation of its historic Regency Club rooms.

  • The historic Chase Park Plaza (314.633.3000; www.chaseparkplaza.com) has been transformed by a $20 million guest room renovation that also included refurbishing all public spaces and meeting areas. The hotel has also added 89 new guest rooms.

  • The 875-room Renaissance Grand and Suites Hotel (314.621.9600; www.marriott.com), adjacent to the America’s Center convention complex, has undergone additional updates and renovations, including new lounge carpeting and furniture and additional health club equipment.

  • In the Clayton business district, the former Radisson Clayton has been reflagged the Crowne Plaza St. Louis-Clayton (314.726.5400; www.cpclayton.com) and recently added 61 guest rooms and suites for a total of 257 rooms, including a two-story Presidential Suite and a Governor’s Suite.

  • The Hilton St. Louis Frontenac (314.993.1100;www.hilton.com) recently completed a $3 million renovation of its
    264 guest rooms and lobby.

  • The Holiday Inn Airport Oakland Park (314.427.4700; www.holidayinn.com) wrapped a multimillion-dollar renovation that included all 158 guest rooms, the lobby and front desk, meeting and banquet space, the fitness center and the restaurant and lounge.

  • The newly renovated, 397-room Hilton St. Louis Airport (314.426.5500; www.hiltonstlouisairport.com) is continuing to implement enhancements, with a refreshed lobby and fitness center, and a new Internet cafe.

  • The 374-room, 19-suite Renaissance St. Louis Hotel Airport (314.429.1100; www.marriott.com) recently completed
    a $7 million renovation and expanded its fitness club.

  • The St. Louis Marriott West Hotel (314.878.2747; www.marriott.com) recently finished a $1.7 million renovation of its
    296 guest rooms, including upgrades to the Grand Ballroom and a redesign of its signature restaurant, the Blue Fire Grill.

  • Hilton recently opened a new 100-room Hilton Garden Inn (636.532.9400; www.hiltongardeninn.com) in the Chesterfield community of St. Louis County. The property features a 24-hour business center, meeting space for up to 75 people, a fitness center and a full-service restaurant.
