The new Battelle Grand, which is the result of a $40 million renovation of a former exhibit hall, debuts in February at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
The new ballroom is Ohio’s largest, thanks to 50,000 square feet of main floor space and a 24,000-square-foot mezzanine. A new floor-to-ceiling window on the south end of the space offers views of downtown Columbus. The ballroom features new lighting options, escalators, a new kitchen and movable wall systems that allow the space to be divided into five configurations.
