Describe your event. This will be the sixth year we will be meeting in Toledo. We are expecting between 35,000 and 40,000 to attend. We meet at Seagate Center in downtown Toledo

Why did you decide to host the meeting in Toledo?
The cooperation of Seagate Center management, the CVB and the city have helped bring us to Toledo. Parking is always a big issue for strangers coming into a city. Toledo was able to provide what we needed.

What surprised you the most about Toledo?
A smaller town is a more friendly town. The police help see that we can walk the streets at night after our sessions and enjoy a meal at a downtown restaurant with a [higher] degree of security than in a larger city.

What did your attendees seem to enjoy the most? It is centrally located, and the Seagate Center is easy to find.

Was anybody particularly helpful? The city parking authority and Owens Corning have been very helpful to our group.

What other types of groups would fit well with the center? It is a multipurpose facility. The portable risers make it suitable for groups like ours. With these removed it is suitable for exhibits and other floor shows.

How does Toledo compare to other places where you have hosted meetings? It’s a good venue. One of its strong points is convenience. That is why we have had conventions for five years in Toledo.

Would you return? We are coming back this year.
