Corporate and association meeting planners named Orlando the top destination for a major convention, trade show, conference or seminar, according to Metropoll, a nationally syndicated biannual meetings industry study.
The study surveyed more than 1,000 meeting planners at major corporations and associations and asked them to rank 40 major U.S. destinations on several factors, including quality of hotel and convention center facilities, overall destination support, overall image, value, location and green practices.
Orlando ranked No. 1 as a convention destination and No. 1 for intent to hold a major meeting in the next three years.
