VISIT DENVER announced the largest convention booking in the city’s history.
The SnowSports Industries America (SIA) Snow Show, held at the end of January, attracted 18,000 ski and snow sports retailers, manufacturers and decision-makers. The trade show is expected to have an estimated annual economic impact of $30 million. SIA will hold the event in Denver for the next 11 years, making it the largest convention booking in the city’s history, said VISIT DENVER President and CEO Richard Scharf.
“SIA Snow Show delegates will spend more money in Denver over the next decade than the original cost of expanding the Colorado Convention Center,” Scharf said.
