The Fairfield Inn & Suites Indianapolis Downtown opened its doors.
The 202-room hotel is the first to open in the $450 million Marriott Place complex. A TGI Friday’s also opened here after being closed for two years.
The complex will feature a total of 1,626 rooms, including the existing 622-room Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, and will cover five brands. The 297-room Courtyard by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown and the 156-suite SpringHill Suites by Marriott Indianapolis Downtown are slated to open at the end of this month followed by the JW Marriott Indianapolis early next year.
