What are three great ways groups can experience adventure in Palm Springs
Horseback Riding: Attendees can experience a quiet hour of "getting away from it all" on over 150 miles of convenient riding trails that provide both solitude and breathtaking beauty. They can ride along trails in Palm Springs along the Indian Canyons and take in the panoramic scenery and can also be guided on a picturesque horseback trail ride in the historic Agua Caliente Canyons with running streams and beautiful palm oases.
Biking Adventure: If your guests are thrill seekers, they will love exploring the La Quinta Cove on a bicycle. Beginning in Indian Wells or La Quinta, riders are challenged by a moderate climb to the famous La Quinta Cove. Here they will take in the view from atop the steps where Charlton Heston played Moses in The Bible. After enjoying some refreshments, riders are taken on an unpaved course providing a taste of true off-road mountain biking. Riders will then coast downhill, through an ancient ocean bed, and on to PGA West for the second break point. The final leg is a downhill and flat run to the designated finish point.
Team-Building Jeep Photo Hunt: Groups can partake of a challenging team-building adventure in the desert near the San Andreas Fault with a photo scavenger hunt aboard big red Jeeps. Guests are assigned to teams and challenge their opponents to a trivia game, complete with questions, riddles and clues to decode while experiencing the thrill of a desert tour. After guides distribute clipboards, Polaroid cameras and other supplies, teams jump in their Jeeps and the adventure begins. The answers to the clues are found in the guides’ tour narration. As an option, groups may also provide their own company or meeting-specific riddles or trivia. Teams earn points by solving riddles, answering trivia questions and taking a series of Polaroid photos such as pictures that represent the team's name.
