  •  Viceroy Hotel Group was selected as operator of the Los Angeles luxury hotel L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. The company will begin a significant refurbishment of the property in the coming months, though remain open. The hotel will relaunch in late 2010 as Viceroy Beverly Hills.   • Homewood Suites by Hilton reopened in January its La Quinta, Ca., property, which had closed last fall due to financing issues. The three-story, 129-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton La Quinta Hotel offers studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool, landscaped courtyard with barbeque area, putting green, fitness center and more than 1,400 square feet of flexible meeting space.   • Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa is undergoing a renovation that is expected to be completed this fall. The first phase of upgrades includes improvements to its 274 guest rooms.   • Doubletree Hotels recently debuted The Curtis-A Doubletree Hotel in downtown Denver. The 336-room, pop-culture-themed hotel is located close to the Colorado Convention Center. In the lobby, guests can play a game of rock-paper-scissors and then browse the pop-culture-themed lobby library. Each guest floor reflects a pop theme, from television and music to art or sports and beyond. Along with complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access, other features include flat-screen televisions and MP3-compatible stereo clock radios.   • The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa, at Ko Olina, Oahu, unveiled its renovated Hokulani Ballroom. The ballroom was formerly known as the Pavilion at Ihilani. Enhancements include a stylish modular design, retractable windows and wireless capability. The windows allow the ballroom to open up to the outside. The expanded ballroom, which now totals 15,600 square feet, can be divided into five breakout spaces. The space can accommodate up to 1,100 guests for banquets and 2,000 guests for theater-style events. Meeting space at the property totals 77,694 square feet. The hotel also features the 35,000-square-foot Ihilani Spa, a championship golf course, tennis, four beach coves and a private marina.   • Taheima Wellness Resort & Spa recently opened in the Riviera Nayarit area, less than an hour from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.
